Day ended with a tour in Dubai mall

Finally at the end of this special day Hadi ended his tour in Dubai Mall. Spending there 4 hours shopping and dinning.

As descried in Wikipedia  “The Dubai Mall is the world's largest shopping mall based on total area and sixth largest by gross leasable area. Located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, it is part of the 20-billion-dollar Burj Khalifa complex, and includes 1,200 shops

Access to the mall is provided via Doha Street, rebuilt as a double-decker road in April 2009. Twice delayed, Dubai Mall opened on November 4, 2008, with about 600 retailers, marking the world's largest-ever mall opening in retail history”

Dubai mall is another global icon at Dubai. Where you can find any brand that comes to your mind. A lot of people from the entire world like to shop at this mall. Hadi shopping trip was about books only. He bought 3 books “Outliers”, “Tipping point” for Malcolm Gladwell and Marketing 3.0 for Philip Kotler. They are both American authors and their books always best selling inspiring many people around the globe.

Hadi had a dinner at T.G.I Fridays which is an American restaurant that has thousands of branchs around the world.

Hadi at the top of Burj Khalifa

It was one of the most exiting moments this years for Hadi when he stood at the height of 450 M at Burj Khalifah to look at whole Dubai from one point. He said “with its wide highways and skyscrapers, Dubai was nothing but a small village”

Burj Khalifa which is the tallest building on the earth is an icon for the globalization. Here you can find hundreds of a brands from all the globe having business in one place. This building is unique with the amount of cooperation from around the globe that was needed to complete such huge project. Planners, designers, engineers and workers from verity of nationalities from east and west worked to gather to make this unique building.

It is stated clearly that Burj Khalifa is a global icon in its vision “More than just the world's tallest building, Burj Khalifa is an unprecedented example of international cooperation, symbolic beacon of progress, and an emblem of the new, dynamic and prosperous Middle East.

It is also tangible proof of Dubai's growing role in a changing world. In fewer than 30 years, this city has transformed itself from a regional centre to a global one. This success was not based on oil reserves, but on reserves of human talent, ingenuity and initiative. Burj Khalifa embodies that vision”

The scene at the top of Burj Khalifa is charming, it is a place where you think you can touch the moon! At the top also there a store where you can buy stuff to remember this moment.

You go up to the top using very fast elevator that has a speed of 10 m per second. Before you go there you have to make sure that you purchase a ticket costing 100 SR or you will pay 400 ED at the site.

Hadi in Mercato Shopping Mall: launch and cinema

After the great moments he had at Wild Wadi, Hadi stopped by Mercato shopping mall to have a launch and watch a movie. Mercato shopping mall has it is a quite place and has traditional design. Hadi spent there 3 hours of his day.

At one of 20000 branches in more than 109 countries of KFC worldwide, Hadi had his launch with four of his friends visiting Dubai. Hadi ordered Big filler male with pepsi and French fries.  As he confirmed Hadi noticed some differences in services quality between KFC in Emirates and Saudi Arabia. According to Hadi staff and workers at KFC in Dubai are more responsive to customers orders and they smile a lot.

As we know KFC KFC Corporation, based in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. Every day, more than 12 million customers are served at KFC restaurants in 109 countries and territories around the world. KFC operates more than 5,200 restaurants in the United States and more than 15,000 units around the world.

After that Hadi went to the theater to watch a movie. For his bad luck he chose to watch Stone which was really boring one with a week scenario. This movie is produced in US with two versions one in English and the other in Japanese.

Hadi commented on the movie saying: ( the concept of the movie is spiritual and shows the trend in the western culture to move out of the materialism toward more spiritual aspects, but unfortunately he killed the idea by have a boring scenario)

After that Hadi and his friends drunk a coffee at starbucks. it is known the that starbucks is around the globe with his popular latte coffee. It started in US 30 years ago and “today, with more than 15,000 stores in 50 countries, Starbucks is the premier roaster and retailer of specialty coffee in the world. And with every cup, we strive we bring both our heritage and an exceptional experience to life”

Wild Wadi: where Hadi said "Wow"

As he planned for his trip to Dubai this year, Hadi visited Wild Wadi water park in Dubai. It was sunny and warm day when Hadi arrived there. He paid 200 ED as a fee to enter the water park. He stayed there for 4 hours, having fun with so many games inside the theme park. Even though it is known globally and there you can see people from all the world enjoying the freedom that reserved their right to act in their way, that water park has very Arabic traditional theme. The different sections, restaurants and shops are named with traditional names from the Arabic literature such as Juha, Lila and Ala Aldin.
The walls and building designed as traditional Arabic buildings. But at the same time, you see many westerns and Asians enjoying their weekends there.
When we asked him about the most exciting moment at the water park he replied : ( it wasn't exciting only, it was crazy when jumped from 200 M to the ground)
Hadi said "such environment reflects how it is possible to have global brand that has many customers from all around the world, but with elements from your unique culture"
In his point of view Hadi thinks that marketers, especially in tourism sector must have the creativity of providing global mix of cultures that attracts everybody in order to gain a competitive advantage.
F.Y.I Wild Wadi water park has a team from 41 nationalities working together all the year to provide entertainment.
